These latch-backs are made from hypoallergenic pewter.
Inspired by the small intricate bones of salmon this design can be an elegant addition to any outfit.
With each piece, the salmon skin is tanned, dyed and coated with epoxy for a waterproof seal. Due to the nature of the material, each has a unique scale pattern and color, making them a one of a kind. We do not catch the salmon for the sole purpose of using their skin for these products. It is a byproduct of the salmon we catch and otherwise would be discarded. We eat the fish and use the skin to share with the world many stories of salmon.
